2. Data processing for the technical provision of the website & the creation of log files<\/h3><\/div><\/div>

    Each time these web pages are accessed, requests are automatically made to web servers of Akamai International, BV as sub-processor of Usercentrics A\/S, Havnegade 39, 1058 Copenhagen, Denmark (domains: consent.cookiesbot.com \/ consentcdn.cookiebot.com) so that the CCM can be provided or the requested files for the CCM can be delivered.\u00a0<\/p>

    During this technical process, data and general information (see above) must be processed temporarily, which are stored in the log or protocol files of web servers of Akamai International, BV, to which Usercentrics and Akamai, Inc. have access, 145 Broadway, Cambridge, MA 02142, USA.<\/p>

    3. Cookies<\/h3><\/div><\/div>

    Cookies are small files that are automatically created and stored in the web browser of the end device of the website visitor in each case to a visited website.     The cookies store information about your use of our website, campaign tracking \u2013 analysis of the visitor\u2019s origin, screen resolution, frequency and time of visit, device and browser information (user agent), click paths, pages visited and time spent (session duration) on individual pages until page break, bounce rate. This allows us to better and more successfully create, control and evaluate visitor statistics.<\/p>

    Furthermore, we use the Google Tag Manager on www.a1-envirosciences.com. This tool optimises the automated management of tags (e.g. third-party scripts) via a web interface: developers.google.com\/tag-platform\/tag-manager.<\/p>

    Google Tag Manager, just like Google Analytics, is provided by servers of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. If you consent (Article 6(1)(a) DSGVO), a request is made to Google LLC at \u201cwww.googletagmanager.com\u201d so that the requested Google Tag Manager script can be delivered to you. For this technical delivery process, so-called \u201cheader request information\u201d (IP address, user agent, etc.) must be temporarily processed, which Google LLC stores on its own responsibility in the log files of web servers. Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, D04 E5W5, Dublin, Ireland, is responsible for processing this data of persons who have their habitual residence in the European Economic Area or Switzerland. According to the assessment here, the processing of personal data in the USA cannot be ruled out in this context, as Google LLC has its headquarters in the USA.     We process data as soon as you contact us via LinkedIn.\u00a0<\/p>

    If you visit LinkedIn, the data and information collected about you when using the service (including IP address, user agent, browsing history, location [geotargeting]) is processed by LinkedIn, for which LinkedIn uses cookies and other web tracking technologies.     Google and LinkedIn are US corporations that have their servers spread all over the world, provide their services globally and process personal data worldwide, inter alia on servers in the US, with an insufficient or inadequate level of data protection in the US (see ECJ, judgment of 16.7.2020 \u2013 C-311\/18 [Facebook Ireland and Schrems], NJW 2020, 2613). This does not change if the respective providers operate web servers in the EU, as the parent companies in the US have full access to the servers in the EU and the so-called CLOUD Act grants US authorities such access.
