Aqualyser

The Aqualyser Range

The Aqualyser family of automated multi-parameter analysis systems comes with a common user interface designed to meet the varied needs of environmental and analytical laboratories. The aqualyser is the perfect answer to common problems facing today’s analytical laboratories:

  • Decrease cost of analysis
  • Increase profit required per head
  • Reduce sample handling
  • Direct reporting to LIMS
  • Efficient turnaround times

Aqualyser pH cost efficient high speed and high throughput automation

The Aqualyser pH is designed to provide a cost-efficient answer to pH testing in both water and soil analysis. The system can be configured to use either the dip or flow through cell principle of measurement. The aqualyser is also available using one of two different Gilson x/y/z robots; the Gilson GX271 or the GX215 allowing a maximum capacity of 350 15ml samples when using a flow through cell and 170 samples when using the dip principle of measurement.

The aqualyser also removes the need for manual time–consuming decanting of samples, by automatically and accurately pipetting a known volume of sample for flow through analysis.

For soil analysis the aqualyser pH can also be upgraded to automatically add leachate and incorporate a delay time prior to measurement.

Key Features

  • Can be configured to use two probes when using standard rack sizes
  • High Speed <2 mins per samples for flow through cell option
  • Automatic multi-point calibration
  • Range 1—14 pH, TSD <0.05 pH units
  • Soil leaching and analysis option
  • Temperature compensation
  • Import from and export to LIMS

Aqualyser Plus

Developed to improve efficiencies and throughput within water laboratories in the Uk and Ireland, the Aqualyser is an automated pH, Conductivity, and Alkalinity, analyser specifically for potable, natural, waste, river and leachate water.

The aqualyser can be configured to carry out any permutation of the 3 determinants depending on user requirements. The system can be further upgraded by exchanging the alkalinity measurement for either fluoride or ammonia with an ion selective electrode using the novel Known addition standard addition potentiometry technique to maximise throughput and minimise sample and reagent consumption. The aqualyser plus also retains the flexibility of the aqualyser pH with both dip and flow through options and two the option to use the two different autosampler platforms.

Key Features

  • Fully automates analysis of up to 350 samples
  • Alkalinity measurement up to 15,000mg without dilution, which can be extended up to tens of thousands of mg’s
  • Dynamic rinsing allows low and high alkalinity content samples to be run together without any carryover.
  • Extended electrode lifetime and stability
  • Export and import to LIMs
  • Exchange alkalinity for ammonia or fluoride using an ion selective electrode.
  • Return On Investment typically 6 months to 1 year

Application

The aqualyser is the perfect answer to pH and multi parmeter analysis of potable, natural, waste, river and leachate water. As well as the pH analysis of soils.
